Built in honor of Kauikeaouli, who would become Kamehameha III, the Royal Slide carried chiefs on wooden sleds to the sea at speeds rivaling a modern toboggan. To stand on this lawn is to stand at the end of that extraordinary run.
The main residence spans two stories with five bedrooms and three baths. A separate permitted guest house adds real versatility for extended family or rental income, and together the compound accommodates up to fourteen guests, a rare combination of scale, privacy, and setting on this stretch of coast.
