Marco was exceptional to work with: knowledgeable, humble, tactful, and with a sense of humor. We were relatively novice buyers, but he worked patiently with us and was glad to answer questions. We picked Marco because of the high reviews on this site. We could not have made a better choice for a realtor. He walked us through the sales process step by step always keeping us informed . His friendly demeanor and professionalism were top notch. We were in Kailua Kona and we went through the preliminary steps for the sale but the main sales preparations were done after we returned to the mainland. He took care of everything. We listed one day and had a buyer the NEXT day. I couldn't recommend Marco any higher. He did an excellent job.

Best Big Island Realtor - First and most importantly, Marco Silva sold our home in a week for a substantial overbid. Quite impressive given the list price in excess of a million and a half. Marco knew the market, precisely nailed the pricing and had us thoroughly prepared when we listed. Marco's advice and contacts in preparing were invaluable making us feel we were his only clients. He was with us every step of the way, hiring stagers, recommending cleaners, plumbers, electricians and even helping move items to storage. Most impressive was his videographer and his extensive and focused marketing strategy. Marco personally tended all aspects of the sale, never delegating to assistants or other realtors. He made sure the property was known to those most likely to represent potential buyers and was present at all showings. The spread he put on for the realtors open house was wonderful and the event was quite well attended. Marco's understanding of the business aspects of real estate was a blessing and he regularly sat on his computer in our home and guided us through the necessary forms and documents. Worthy of mention is that our home was jointly held with a troublesome and litigious LLC member. Marco's interaction with this member, attorneys, and the title company was essential to the successful conclusion of the sale. His honesty, tact and diplomacy are exemplary. Suffice it to say, we consider Marco Silva the best realtor in Hawaii and a self-effacing hero in our case. We have also come to consider him a friend.

Before deciding to contact a Big Island of Hawaii Real Estate Professional, I reviewed the many websites that post customer satisfaction ratings of agents. After careful review I decided to contact Marco. He promptly returned my call and he carefully asked questions of us that helped him focus his search for our ideal home. Marco knows the marketplace, especially the various condo complexes and their advantages and disadvantages. He listens very well and is able to figure out what we want and what we think is important. If we are headed down the wrong path, he very diplomatically gave us additional information that we all found useful. Marco is totally honest, and of high integrity, and that was immediately obvious, as is the fact that he cares about his clients. Marco treated my wife and I as equals in this home finding endeavor and that has helped make this process a success for us. I can't think of a single thing that he could have done better. I give Marco five stars in all categories and he deserves it. Marco was the fourth real estate agent I contacted after poor experiences with the first three. My home search on the Big Island took over 15 months total. I spent nearly 8 months working with Marco and his patience had no limits. Looking back on it I can't believe all the time he took with me, how many travels we took all over the island even though he probably knew it wasn't going to be a fit for me but he also knew that it was something I would have to see and decide for myself. We made a few offers on homes and couldn't come to an agreement with the sellers. But, when the home I purchased came on the market I think Marco knew that this was THE one. We made an offer and there was no way that Marco was going to let this house get away from me. He was always 100% on my side, always in my corner and had my back all the way. Everything was negotiated to my satisfaction and Marco handled every step of the way with honesty and integrity. The home purchase process can be difficult, especially the loan process but it is all easier when you can have absolute trust in your real estate agent. Obviously I can't say enough about Marco and I 100% would recommend him to anybody considering a purchase on the island. Not all real estate agents are created equal. Marco Silva was definitely the best man for the job and I am so glad I lucked into finding him.
